Prenatal care is provided at your home.
Home visiting revives the tradition of personalized, client-centered care.

Initial visit (usually done at my office) includes:

  • Orientation to care
  • Signing consents
  • Reviewing medical and pregnancy history
  • Risk assessment to evaluate for home birth
  • Discussion of danger signs & things to avoid in pregnancy
  • A diet history form is given to you to fill out
  • Suggest guidelines for optimal nutrition
  • Physical exam
  • Pelvic exam with PAP & cultures
  • Blood work for screening

Regular prenatal visits (usually done in your home) include:

  • Checking your blood pressure, pulse, weight gain & urine
  • Measuring the size of your uterus to evaluate baby's growth
  • Monitoring baby's heart beat, position and movement
  • Standard lab work and tests
  • Nutritional evaluation
  • Exercise recommendations
  • Remedies for common discomforts of pregnancy
  • Discussion of emotional and social well being

Ultrasound referral available as needed.

Treatment of medical conditions requiring medications or other interventions requires consultation with or referral to a physician or obstetrician.
